Your dog's ability to follow commands and to socialize well with others will play an important role in their life and your bond with them. All Things PAWSitive offers group training classes to provide you with positive reinforcement methods to guide your dog while enhancing your relationship. Our certified trainers use training techniques endorsed by the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior.
Our classes will teach you how to help your dog pay attention on cue, learn basic commands, wait politely at the door, come when called, walk nicely on a leash and greet people and other dogs politely.
Positive reinforcement training methods are the only scientifically proven safe and effective training methods for animals. Being that positive reinforcement is the most effective approach for training animals, we enjoy using this method for our dog daycare in Bellevue and the Seattle area. This method includes rewarding desirable behaviors in order to modify and eliminate undesirable ones. All Things PAWSitive will never use or recommend methods that use force, fear or pain because methods involving punishment change behaviors only temporarily and present many detrimental side effects. The Positive reinforcement training methods used at All Things PAWSitive, results in lasting behavioral modification.
The All Things PAWSitive approach meets and exceeds the professional recommendations of the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior, Animal Behavior Society, American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), and International Forum of Applied Animal Behavior. Our dog training classes have the smallest class sizes in the area, giving you the personalized training you deserve.
